Facility Highlights

  • The History Center campus is conveniently located in downtown Richmond, near several hotels and Interstates 95 and 64.
  • We accommodate events with up to 175 people.
  • Start your event at the time of your own choosing. You are not restricted to pre-established blocks of time.
  • Choose from both indoor and outdoor accommodations.
  • Exhibition galleries are open to your guests.

Available Spaces

  • Garden – This picturesque, private green space is nestled among high brick walls and magnolia trees in the center of an urban environment. The garden extends from the portico of the historic Wickham House,is situated around a courtyard fountain and includes a large brick terrace. 15,000 square feet
  • Auditorium/Reception Room – This large multipurpose room has hardwood floors and features Signs of the Times, an exhibition of vintage Richmond neon advertising. 1,750 square feet
  • Conference Room – Our small private meeting room is adjacent to exhibition galleries and featureschanging exhibitions of photographs from the History Center collection. 500 square feet
