Plans for the future: Where do we go next?
Future of the Richmond History Center

New Technology to Enhance Access to the Collections: Newly purchased hardware and software will enable staff, researchers and visitors to search, sort and arrange items by subject and field. Once the collection has been thoroughly inventoried and data entered, computer users will be able to access the general collection, and eventually the photographic collection, through the Internet.

Strategic Development Plan: Though a strategic development plan, the History Center will create a financial and programmatic base that will sustain it as it enters the next century.

Capital Projects: Work has been completed on the renovation of the 1879 Decatur O. Davis House for staff offices.
