A major component of the current Second Century Campaign, the Richmond History Gallery project represents the work and input of numerous staff and Board members, peer institutions, scholars, students and Richmond residents. This project will result in a major redesign of current gallery space in anticipation of new exhibitions, which will tell both a composite and inclusive history of the region.
The redesign also includes space for several Community Galleries, designed for smaller, more contemporary exhibits, as well as space for community programming.
