Welcome to the Curator's Corner
As you can imagine, being a curator at the Valentine Richmond History Center is like being the proverbial kid in the candy store: The hardest part is deciding which items from our astonishingly deep and varied collections to highlight.
Hence this corner, a place for me to exhibit some of our treasures online without the constraints of an in-house exhibit.
Check out What is it? (Who
is it? when we feature a photograph) and Featured
Item, below, but don't stop there – come visit us and take a walk through 400 years of Richmond history.
